Arabs! Refuse to be Catched in Iraeli Traps

About 325 civilians are killed and many more injured (upto July 19, 2006) in recent attacks of Israel on Gaza and Lebanon. The Arabs again failed to reject compliance with the Jewish plan. It is a 3-steps strategy, which never failed them. Step 1: Provoke Palestinians or Arabs with some act of annoyance; Step 2: wait for their reaction, which is surely such that could be labeled terrorism; and Step 3: attack Palestinians or Arabs with full might. This is what Israelis are doing for the last half a century. And Arabs never frustrated them in achieving their goals. The recent attacks were planned in the same way. Israel killed some people in Gaza. In its reaction Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers. Israel made it a ground to attack Gaza and Lebanon.
Arabs do not have any control on Step 1 and 3, described above. But Step 2 is all about Arabs. If they once decide not to react on the provocation of Israelis, they will disappoint them in seeking a justification to attack Arabs. Cannot Arabs learn any lesson from the Uswah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)? There were a lot of malicious deeds from Quresh, which could provoke the Muslims a lot. But through out the thirteen years of Meccan life there was literally no reaction from Sahaba. Had there been any reaction from Sahaba, this minor group of Muslims would have been wiped off from the face of earth. What was the strategy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)? Only patience (sabr). Sahaba strictly followed this principle, unless they got the opportunity of getting such strength that was enough to check the brutalities of Quresh. They never started a war that they could not fight. The dilemma with Arabs is that they are always willing to react and start a war, which they can never fight. For the previous half a century, the result is the same: no gain on the side of Arabs and ever-expanding territories of Israel. When will Arabs recognize the trap, and refuse to be caught into it?
