Pakistan Monument (shown on the right in above picture) is a national monument built at Shakarparian Hills, Islamabad. It was completed and inaugurated in 2007. Only 650 km from it in Delhi, there stands a very beautiful monumental building of Bahai Faith[1]: Lotus Temple (shown on the left in above picture). As far as the form is concerned, Pakistan Monument seems to be an ugly imitation (charba) of Lotus Temple. Lotus Temple was inaugurated for public worship in 1986.

[1] Bahaullah founded Bahai Faith in 19th century in Iran. He claimed that he was a manifestation of God. His religion was the next version of Babi Faith (founded by Mohammad Ali Bab). Bahaullah was born in a Muslim family.
