Gen. Pervaiz Musharraf said while adressing Nazims, “Some elements have caused harm to this great religion by presenting diverse interpretations of Islam." (The News, Nov 13, 2005)
So should we ban different interpretations of Islam? Then which interpretation should be given sanctity? Would GHQ give its official interpretation? And having opinions against it will be an offence, and such persons having different opinions will be court marshalled? Innaa lillahi wa innaa ilaeehi raji’oon.
